Drew Smith Goes On IL

Mets reliever RHP Drew Smith (Photo Credits to MetsMerizedOnline.com) New York Mets reliever RHP Drew Smith was placed on the 10-Day IL with right shoulder inflammation. Smith has a solid year with a 2.40 ERA in 41 2/3 innings. Outfielder Albert Almora Jr was also optioned to Triple-A Syracuse. RHP Geoff Hartlieb and RHP Jake Reed were recalled from Triple-A Syracuse as corresponding roster moves.
