The New York Mets lost to the Boston Red Sox 6-1 tonight at Fenway Park to lose two out of three games in the series and dropped their record to 46-53.

Carrasco then gave up a RBI single to RF Adam Duvall.
After a scoreless bottom of the second, Carrasco's struggles continued in the bottom of the third after he gave up six straight hits which lead to four hits and was then taken out.
His final line was 2.1 innins, 10 hits, five runs, two walks and two strikeouts.
RHP Drew Smith came in next and gave up a two-run single to catcher Yu Chang and gave up another run on a wild pitch.

LHP David Peterson threw a scoreless bottom of the sixth.
RHP Dominic Leone gave up a solo homer to Devers in the bottom of the seventh.
