Peralta had a scoreless bottom of the fourth and then gave up another solo homer to Hicks in the bottom of the fifth.

Peralta had scoreless innings in the bottom of the sixth and seventh and was then taken out.

His final line was seven innings, eight hits, four runs, two walks and nine strikeouts.

RHP Jonthan Pintaro who was called up on Saturday came in next and threw a scoreless bottom of the eighth.

The Met offense was held scoreless for the first eight innings managing only one hit against RHP Max Meyer on a single by 1B Mark Vientos in the top of the second until the top of the ninth.
