The New York Mets beat the Philadelphia Phillies 7-2 tonight at Citi Field to take a 2-1 games lead in the National League Division Series.

In the bottom of the fourth, DH Jesse Winker also hit a solo homer.

After a scoreless bottom of the fifth, 3B Mark Vientos singled to lead off the bottom of the sixth and then LF Brandon Nimmo and Alonso followed with walks to load the bases.

2B Jose Iglesias then grounded into a fielder's choice and Winker flew out, but then RF Starling Marte came up and broke the game open with a two-run single.

In the bottom of the seventh, Vientos reached on an infield hit with two outs and then was pinch-run for Harrison Bader who stole second.

Nimmo and Alonso then walked once again to load the bases and Iglesias drove in two much needed insurance runs with a two-run single.

In the bottom of the eighth, pinch-hitter J.D. Martinez led off with a walk and two batters later, CF Tyrone Taylor grounded into a fielder's choice.

Two batters later, SS Francisco Lindor capped off the scoring with a RBI double.

Manaea came back out for the top of the eighth and gave up an infield hit to 2B Edmundo Sosa and was taken out.

His final line was seven innings, three hits, one run, two walks and six strikeouts.

Manaea had 19 swings and misses.

He mixed in all of his pitches well and had his fastball, slider and change-up all working well.

Manaea picked up his first win of the postseason.

RHP Phil Maton came on in the top of the eighth and gave up a RBI single to 1B Bryce Harper and recorded only two outs.

RHP Ryne Stanek followed and gave up a RBI single to RF Nick Castellanos, but was able to get the last four outs to close it out.
