Mets 2020 Schedule is Revealed

Today Major League Baseball announced the schedule for the 2020 season. The New York Mets opener is on Friday July 24th at home against the Atlanta Braves at 4:10 p.m. The Mets have a difficult schedule and open up their first five series against the Braves twice, Boston Red Sox twice and the defending World Series champions Washington Nationals.  Due to travel concerns in fear of preventing spread from the CoronaVirus, all teams will be playing a regional schedule this year. As an example, NL East teams will only be playing teams in their own division and the American League East. It will be a challenge facing off against the contenders Braves, Nationals, Phillies and an improved Marlins team in the NL East and playing the Yankees, Red Sox, and Rays in the AL East, but it will make it a fun season for sure.
