Noah Syndergarrd Scratched From Today's Start

New York Mets manager Terry Collins announced earlier today that RHP Noah Syndergarrd has been scratched from today's start due to tendinitis in his right bicep. RHP Matt Harvey will take his place in the rotation. Syndergarrd said he felt discomfort in his right elbow in his bullpen session yesterday and also felt discomfort yesterday when he threw batting practice. Syndergarrd could get the start on Sunday against the Washington Nationals or be placed on the 10-day DL. Syndergarrd hopes to get the start on Sunday.
