Mets vs. Royals World Series Game 1 Recap
Last night, the Mets lost a tough game to the Kansas City Royals 5-4 in 14 innings. Bartolo Colon gave up a run in the 14th and took the loss. Jeurys Familia gave up a run in 9th and blew his first save of the postseason. Matt Harvey gave up 3 runs in 6 innings. Travis d'Arnaud hit an RBI single. Michael Conforto hit a sac fly. Wilmer Flores reached on an error which brought home a run. This was an amazing game from start to finish. Both teams were so evenly matched. It should be a very exciting rest of the series. Tonight in Game 2, Jacob deGrom goes against Johnny Cueto.
