Game 5 NLDS: Mets vs. Dodgers Recap

Last night, the Mets defeated the Dodgers 3-2 to win Game 5 of the NLDS and advance to the NLCS! Daniel Murphy was the start of the game with 2 RBIs and a key stolen base to help set up the tying run. Travis d'Arnaud had a key sac fly to tie the game. Jacob deGrom battled it out for 6 innings and only gave up 2 runs, despite giving up a lot of baserunners.   He showed a lot of heart and didn't give up. Noah Syndergaard was dominant in the 7th inning and struck out Justin Turner on a nasty changeup to end the inning. Jeurys Familia was awesome in the 8th and 9th innings and retired all 6 batters he faced. He picked up his 2nd save of the series. This was an awesome win and it showed that this Met team has a tremendous amount of resiliently. I can't wait for the NLCS to start. They open up at home against the Cubs tomorrow night  at 8:00 with Matt Harvey going against Jon Lester.
