Mets vs. Cubs NLCS Game 2 Recap
The Mets defeated the Cubs 4-1 tonight and are now up 2 games to 0 in the NLCS. David Wright finally got out of slump by getting an RBI double. Daniel Murphy continued his incredible postseason hotstreak by having a 2 run homer. He's had 5 homers in the postseason. Yoenis Cespedes added an RBI single. Noah Syndergarrd pitched 5 2/3 solid innings. He only gave up one run. He had 9 k's. Jon Niese got last out in 6th. Addison Reed pitched a scoreless 7th. Tyler Clippard pitched a scoreless 8th. Jeurys Familia pitched a scoreless 9th and picked up his 2nd save of series. Game 3 of the series is Tuesday night at Wrigley Field with Jacob deGrom going against Kyle Hendricks.
