Mets vs. Dodgers NLDS Game 1 Preview

Tomorrow night, the Mets start Game 1 of the NLDS against the LA Dodgers at 9:45. The pitching matchup is Jacob deGrom vs. Clayton Kershaw. It should be a low scoring game and 1-2 runs could be the difference. I expect the Mets lineup to be similar to the lineup they've typically used against LHP. Curtis Granderson, Daniel Murphy and Lucas Duda should be the only lefties to start. It sounds like Ruben Tejada will get the start at SS since he is better defensively than Wilmer Flores and Flores has been dealing with strep throat. I think the Mets can definitely win tomorrow night. They won 2-1 against Kershaw on July 3rd 2-1 when their lineup was not nearly as good as it is now. Hopefully degrom can regain the form that he showed in the first half and the pen can close it out. I still worry about Tyler Clippard in the 8th inning, but I have a lot of confidence in Jeurys Familia. I can't wait to watch some playoff baseball tomorrow night. Let's Go Mets!
