Kansas City Royals Scouting Report

Last night, the Mets found out their opponent in the World Series will be the Kansas City Royals after they defeated the Blue Jays 4-3 in Game 6 of the ALCS. This is their second consecutive World Series appearance after they lost to the San Francisco Giants last year. The Royals main strength is their bullpen. Even after losing closer Greg Holland, their pen is still just as effective with Kelvin Herrera in the 7th, Ryan Madison in the 8th, and Wade Davis as closer. Their rotation is also very solid with Johnny Cueto, Edison Volquez, Kris Medlen, and former Met Chris Young. They are tough to stop on the basepaths and some of their best base stealing threats are Jarrod Dyson, Alcides Escobar, and Lorenzo Cain. Eric Hosmer, Mike Moustakis, Salvador Perez, Kendrys Morales, and Lorenzo Cain. It will be a great series between two teams that have a lot of young talent.
