Terry Collins Will Not Return Next Year

The New York Mets announced today that manager Terry Collins will not be returning for the 2018 season. Collins will be staying in the organization and move to a role in the front office. He managed the Mets for seven seasons and helped make them make the playoffs in 2015 and 2016. Collins took the team to the World Series in 2015 and the wild-card game last season. I thought Terry did a great job the last two seasons keeping the team together and really helped get the most out of his players. I wish him the best of luck in his role in the front office.
