The New York Mets lost to the Philadelphia Phillie 9-1 this afternoon in the final game of the season and ended up with a record of 74-87.
RHP Jose Butto had a solid outing allowing two runs on five hits in six innings.
Butto gave up two walks with four strikeouts.
RHP Denyl Reyes followed and had a difficult outing allowing five runs on six hits in 2.1 innings.
LHP Anthony Kay gave up two runs in the top of the ninth.
The Met offense did not do much all game outside of a solo homer by LF Tim Locastro in the bottom of the third and managed only two hits.
Thanks to everyone who read and supported Queens Faithful all season long!
