Bobby Parnell Going on DL with Elbow Fatique

The Mets announced today that reliever Bobby Parnell has been placed on the DL due to elbow fatigue. Logan Verrett has been recalled from Triple A as corresponding roster move. I'm glad that Parnell has been placed on DL. He has really struggled and has blown several games. The Mets need to find another option in the pen besides Tyler Clippard and Jeurys Familia. Hopefully Verrett can help provide some stability in the bullpen.
