How Much Longer Should The Mets Live With Dillon Gee in Starting Rotation?

It's no secret the Mets have been trying to trade Dillon Gee. They tried trading him in the offseason to the Texas Rangers, but a deal wasn't able to be made. This offseason, Gee has continued to struggle with a record of 0-3 and a ERA of 4.46. He just came off the DL due to groin issues. I think that Gee has worn out his welcome. With Steven Matz dominating in Triple A, he is on a very short leash. I think it's time that the Mets move Gee to the pen and call up Matz since he has no trade value at this point. If they are serious about being contenders this year, they need to throw out their best starters and can't afford to have bad starts by Gee or even Jon Niese cost them a playoff spot. Dillon Gee has been a decent 5th starter for several years, but it's time for the Mets to move on from him. They need to just have a rotation made up of young studs Matt Harvey, Noah Syndergarrd, Jacob deGrom, and Steven Matz as well as Bartolo Colon for the remainder of the season in order to either hopefully win the NL East or win the wild card.
