New York Mets RHP Jake Reed and catcher James McCann were placed on the injured list retroactive to August 19th.
Reed has been experiencing right forearm inflammation and McCann has been dealing with back spasms.
RHP Yennsy Diaz and RHP Geoff Hartlieb were recalled from Triple-A Syracuse as corresponding roster moves.
