Mets Place Tomas Nido on Seven-Day IL

The New York Mets announced today they have placed catcher Tomas Nido on the 7-Day IL due to concussion protocol after he was hit on the back of the head on a back swing last night by Braves 3B Josh Donaldson. Nido has hit .207 with three homers and 13 RBI's. Rene Rivera has been called up from Triple-A Syracuse to temporary replace him.
