Terry Collins Recieves 2 Year Contract Extension
The Mets announced this morning that manager Terry Collins will be getting a 2 year contract extension through the 2017 season. He will be making slightly more than $1 million per season. I think this is a very fair extension. TC has earned it for the tremendous job he did this year. Hopefully next year, he will receive his first World Series ring.

Mets vs. Royals Game 5 World Series Recap
The Mets lost to the Kansas City Royals 7-2 last night to lose the World Series to the Kansas City Royals 4 games to 1. Addison Reed gave up 5 runs and took the loss. Matt Harvey gave up 2 runs in 8 innings. Curtis Granderson hit his 3rd homer of the World Series. Lucas Duda added a sac fly. It was a tough way for the Mets to be eliminated, but there is a lot to be proud of this season. They have a great shot to get back to the World Series next year with their dominant pitching staff and some new additions to the bullpen and middle infield.
